2013 We just want to hold our heads upright (video)

“I just want to hold my head upright” is about the weight of human heads.  The weight of head reflects one’s physical and emotional status, and I visualize the tension between the inside and the outside of portrait figures. I also use multiple panel formation to explore how viewers engage their bodies with the artwork.  Through identifying the subjects, viewers are invited to feel the weight of their heads.
